Sunset Bay State Marine Park, Hidden Harbor Marina and Sunset Marina are all close by, with boat slips and launch ramps, and the walleye, perch, smallmouth bass and salmon fishing here is some of the best on Lake Erie. The sandy beach at Sunset Bay, the Sunset Bay Beach Club and Cabana Sam's are a short walk. Local wineries are nearby, Seneca Gaming is about five minutes away, and there are snowmobile and cross country ski trails in the winter.

About 25 minutes to Highmark Stadium, about 40 minutes to downtown Buffalo, and about 45 minutes to Chautauqua Lake.
